About Us

A passion for interior design and colour have led me to lampshades and lamps and their impact on the mood and setting of rooms.

I was fortunate and very grateful to learn the traditional lampshade-making techniques from the late lampshade master craftsman Henry Choi while living in Hong Kong. Little did I know then that learning this old craft for my own interior design would lead to a rewarding business idea in Europe years later..

My upbringing from old families and forever being surrounded by antiques has instilled admiration and respect for antique furniture, paintings and lamps. At the same time, I desired to combine these with contemporary fabrics and colour schemes to give them a new lease of life.

I look to source outstanding fabrics and papers worldwide, yet I am equally very happy to work with clients own materials as required.

There is something wonderful when seeing a client's treasured lamp - with its lifetime of memories, shining in a new light wearing a perfectly fitting modern lampshade.
